TOTEM™
- Total Equipment Management. This software package
assists professional hockey equipment managers by automating
purchase orders, player profiles, budget reports, expense reports,
and invoice tracking. Included in the application are catalogs
with merchandise from hockey equipment vendors.
Embedded Systems Development. Protasis develops software for embedded processors and FPGA's.
We have produced systems for small aircraft (UAV) and communication systems. These systems involve signal processing and Voice-Over-IP (VOIP) network routing and data flow.
We also develop systems for control of communications resources such as radios.
Web
Development. Protasis is experienced in building Web
sites as well as designing and developing software for Intranets,
Extranets, and Portals. We work closely with our clients to
fully understand and document their business needs before designing
an affordable solution.
Aerospace
Technology. Protasis supports aerospace customers like
NASA and the Naval Research Lab in the design, development,
and testing of airborne and space systems. These include portable
ground stations, large-scale mission control systems, and high-fidelity
simulators. Our work also includes consulting in the areas of
technical project management, systems integration and test,
imaging systems, and mission operations and planning support.
Simulation
and Modeling. We develop real-time objects to model
processes, machines, and systems. Through simulation, external
clients can interact with a complex system transparently, allowing
the target system to be understood and validated before it is
built. This kind of simulation is invaluable for training as
well as for high-fidelity testing during development and operations.
General
Business Tools. Protasis creates software tools for
general business operations. We provide affordable solutions
by customizing off-the-shelf products that exceed system requirements.
Where applicable, we write new applications for unique business
objectives. Using database management systems such as Oracle
and SQL Server, Protasis is adept at architecting a scalable
solution and writing the complex business logic for large-scale
transactions.
